Whatever size you land on, the pillow will only look as good as the photo you send. A clear, well-lit shot with the subject fully in frame gives the cleanest cut-out. Busy backgrounds and photos where part of the subject is cut off are the most common reasons a pillow doesn't turn out great.

Materials, Comfort and Care

  • Every custom photo pillow has a soft velvet polyester shell over a plush polyester fiber fill. It's the same fabric no matter which size you get, and it's actually comfortable to hold, not just something that looks good in photos.

  • The photo is printed in full color on both sides, so it's never facing the wrong way on a couch or a bed. What you upload is what shows, edge to edge, front and back.

  • It's machine washable and dryable too, which matters once the pillow is actually getting used and not just sitting on a shelf.

The preview you see right after uploading is generated automatically. Before it goes into production, someone on our design team will look at your photo and make adjustments by hand, so what you get matches your photo.

Can I put more than one person or pet on the same pillow?

Yes. If you want more than one subject on the same pillow, just leave a note at checkout so the design team knows what to include.

What happens if my photo is blurry or low resolution?

If a photo's too blurry or low-res to get a good result, our design team will reach out before production to ask for a better one. We'd rather check with you than send out a pillow that doesn't look right.

Can I leave a note or a special request for the design team?

Yes, there's a spot for that at checkout, and the team reads it before they start working on your pillow.

Can I order a pillow of something that isn't a person or a pet?

Yes. People have sent us cars, kids' drawings, even a favorite pair of boots. If it's a clear photo, we can probably turn it into a pillow.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes, to the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

What if I'm not happy with my pillow?

Since every pillow is made to order, we can't do returns, but we will remake it for free until you're happy with how it turned out.

How long does shipping take?
